About the speakers
Lars Hagenbuch
Investment consultant
Lars has over 25 years’ experience in a range of investment fields including asset consulting, hedge funds, tactical asset allocation and portfolio management. He has on-the-ground experience in both emerging markets as well as in the UK and USA. This, combined with expertise in systems development helps RisCura deliver tailored investment solutions to global clients with respect to their emerging market exposures. Prior to joining RisCura in January 2019, he worked at Old Mutual as an actuarial assistant, at Southern Asset Management as a quantitative portfolio manager, at Barclays Global Investors as an asset allocation and hedge fund product specialist followed by Man Group in a similar role. Lars has also lectured in the MSc (Finance) programme at Warwick Business School.
Robin You
Investment Research Analyst
Robin is responsible for manager research on the China Fund. His in-depth knowledge across developed and emerging markets along with his investment research experience ensures that he is able to assist clients with identifying and monitoring investment opportunities. Prior to joining RisCura in Hong Kong, Robin worked at the CPP Investment Board as an investment associate where he specialised in manager research on Asia and China, across strategies and asset classes.
