Moving the Needle, released in November 2021, looks at engagement and proxy voting practices in-depth and how these are used (or not) to address ESG concerns. We’ve surveyed over 50 asset managers representing in excess of R3.9 trillion assets under management, including interviews with 17 of the largest asset managers in the country, and analysed these results to help the South African investment industry be a part of driving real change.
