RisCura Joins CFA South Africa’s Day of the Girl Job Shadow Initiative

RisCura partnered with the CFA Society South Africa’s Women in Investment Management program to champion inclusivity in finance. As part of this initiative, RisCura hosted a “Day of the Girl” event on October 13, 2023, aimed at empowering young girls and encouraging greater diversity and inclusion within the finance industry.

The event brought five girl learners from Esangweni Secondary School to RisCura’s Cape Town office for a day of learning and networking. The girls had the opportunity to learn about the different types of jobs in the investment world, meet and network with female investment professionals, get hands-on experience with RisCura’s processes, and participate in financial literacy workshops.

RisCura is committed to making the investment world more diverse and inclusive. The “Day of the Girl” event was an important part of this effort, as it helped to inspire and empower the next generation of women to consider careers in finance.
