In his role, Gerald ensures that the investment deliverables provided by RisCura are appropriate, easily understood and add demonstrable value.

Gerald actively seeks out first-hand experience in the development of capital markets, and this has seen him lead several capital market research initiatives for global development finance institutions and capital market industry associations.

When he founded RisCura in 1999 Jarred laid the foundations for what RisCura would become.

Jarred’s work in liability-driven investment is widely regarded as pioneering the evolved theory and practise of LDI.

Backed by a deep understanding of quantitative portfolio techniques, complex instruments, and active risk management, Jarred ensures that our global institutional client base achieves optimal portfolio performance through tailored asset class structuring and best practise from all their investment service providers.

Churchill Ogutu is an Economist with IC Group’s asset management division, specializing in African economies.

He identifies multi-sectoral investment opportunities and cultivates strong relationships with key policymakers across the continent. A sought-after commentator in the media, Churchill previously served as Head of Research at Genghis Capital, focusing on the Kenyan economy and fixed-income investments.   

He holds a BSc. in Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi and is a Level 3 CFA candidate. Churchill is also an Associate Member of ICIFA and a member of the Economists Society of Kenya.

Anthony S Mwithiga is a seasoned investment leader with over 20 years’ experience managing portfolios for a diverse clientele across East Africa.

Currently the Group Managing Director of Old Mutual Investment Group (OMIG) for East Africa, he has held leadership positions at Absa Asset Management-Kenya, NCBA Investment Bank, and STANLIB Investment Management East Africa.

Anthony is a Council Member of the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts of Kenya (ICIFA) and Chairman of the Fund Managers Association of Kenya (FMA).

He holds postgraduate qualifications in Maths, Economics, and Finance, and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). His commitment to professional development is evident through leadership programmes at prestigious institutions like GIBS, Strathmore, and Yale. In 2011, he was recognised as one of Kenya’s Top-40-Under-40 leaders.
