With over 20 years’ experience in the USA, UK and South Africa, Heather joined RisCura in 2021 as a non-executive director. Heather’s career reflects RisCura’s Invest with Care philosophy with a wide range of roles relating to responsible investment and social causes. She currently serves as a director for the Reinsurance Group of America in South Africa; has director oversight of the South African Renewable Energy Masterplan process; and serves as a trustee of World Wildlife Foundation South Africa; is founder and director of Gamiro Holdings, which invests in utility-scale renewable energy projects; was CEO at Legae Securities, the first black-owned stockbroking firm registered with the JSE; and was CEO of the Citizen’s Movement, an NPO which promotes the strengthening of South Africa’s democracy; and global moderator for the Aspen Institute.
